I spent the day at adtech at the Olympia in London yesterday. Although I stopped in at a few of the presentations I didn’t really find anything too groundbreaking. The exhibition was pretty good - lots of exhibitors and it was great to get a sense of where we fit in, in this burgeoning industry.

Whilst checking out a few SEO companies I met Neil from Just Search, a cool SEO company based in Cheshire. Neil was showing me his great rankings when Wam Bam what do I see but a SearchStatus button in the bottom right hand corner of his browser!



Always cool to meet a happy user :-). On a strange note… most SEO companies on show were using Internet Explorer - I don’t get it?

I also met with Scott Button of the Viral Video Chart. They are doing some interesting stuff tracking videos. I think that space is going to hot up pretty soon if it hasn’t already. So much brand content is in video and it’s actually pretty hard to track as you’re so reliant on the text and tags around the video.
