Last night saw J9, Jaco, Scott and myself dressed to impress for the Technology Top 100 Awards ceremony at the swanky Sandton convention centre, an event created to acknowledge outstanding achievements and innovation within the technology sectors.

I’m really excited to be able to tell you that incuBeta walked away with top honours by winning the Minister’s award for Overall Technology Excellence: Small Enterprise, adding to their already considerable list of accolades.

Obviously, as partners we’re happy for them and extend our congratulations, but more than that, it always pleases me to see other entrepreneurs making their mark and making a difference in South Africa. It sends all the right messages to others in the country and proves that the South African technology sector is alive and thriving.

All the most exciting technology entrepreneurs in the industry in one place; Overall, it left us all with a very positive feeling in terms of growth and development of the industry in South Africa and plenty hope for the future.
