Despite the 40 odd percent search market share for Google which is often bandied about, web marketers like us Quirkstars know the reality to be something totally different. In this great post, Rich Skrenta does a bit of completely unscientific analysis around some Hitwise data, which shows that this number is in fact closer to 70%.
