Viral Marketing 101

Viral Marketing takes a message and powerfully and quickly spreads it across the Internet, just like the age-old concept of "word-of-mouth", but in an electronic context.

Which marketer wouldn’t want their message to be spread quicker than lice on the first day of the school year? Unfortunately crafting the perfect message (one that is predisposed to going viral) is not always easy. Perhaps marketers needing help on the subject should enroll at the Viral Learning Center…



After trawling the web for this weekend’s videos I discovered to my amazement that one of our very own QuirkStars (have been sworn to secrecy as far as the identity of the Star is concerned) must have taken a class or two at the Viral Learning Center.
 
Said QuirkStar recently launched MyVideo, a South African video sharing service, which has gained phenomenal popularity in a very short space of time. There are a few videos that are doing particularly well - who would have thought that so many people would be interested in someone parading around as a gigantic pink bunny?
 


This QuirkStar has clearly unlocked the secret behind Viral Marketing… another testament to the Viral Learning Center and to the viral expertise at Quirk eMarketing.
