Coke does it again

If you’ve been reading GottaQuirk for a while now you’ll probably know that I am a big fan of Coke’s ads. We’ve featured some great examples which you can find here, here and here - if you are so inclined.

My favourite was the feel good and fun Happiness Factory – that was until I found Happiness Factory 2 – the mini movie. It is 3.29 minutes long but it is so worth it! I’m sure the version for television will be cut down quite considerably (can you imagine how much it would cost to flight an ad of that length?).

There are loads of Coke ads up on YouTube and I tried to see how many views they have collectively - but it soon reached the millions and I've never been one for addition, or maths in general really so I stopped counting.

Anyways, to cut a long story short, by placing their ads (or by their consumers placing their ads) on YouTube, Coke has had countless numbers of people watching them (at no expense to Coke), not because they were too lazy to get up and make a cuppa during the ad break but because they really wanted to. Impressive, isn't it?
