Okay… so I’ve spent all weekend wracking my brain for some sort of environmental topic I could blog about today - something inspiring, something that would make people change, something profoundly genius that could save the world!
But nothing … so I either have bloggers block or I’m taking this post way too seriously!

I have always been a bit of a hippy at heart and spend loads of time researching, reading and dreaming about big and small things that I could do to change the world. So it is in this hippy spirit that I have decided to share the love (cheesy I know!) and tell you about my favourite environmental reads.

My current favourite “Green” Blogs:

• Treehugger – The name says it all. It's full of “10 ways to …” tips ranging from how to green up your sex life and eco-friendly lighting solutions right down to how to dress Green. I love this site!
• Cobhouse – Probably not the best read on earth but love the fact that they are really making it happen and in doing so influencing the community around them. I think it is really inspiring … I want to build a house… *sigh*.
• Urbansprout – An awesome South African blog directory listing all things organic and eco-friendly! My personal favourite is the organic wine directory ; )
• Carbon Copy – A space dedicated to sustainability…. Give this a read …. It will make you think!

For those of you who don’t know me I am a proud vegetarian … don’t worry I’m not going to do the whole don’t eat meat thing (let’s save that for another day) but I do believe that if you are going to eat meat, especially fish, you need to do it responsibly and thought I would share this nifty pocket guide – please use it!

Finally, if you haven’t seen Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth – hellllllooooo!!!! You need too!
