The end of the year brings more than panic gift buying and embarrassing Christmas party photos, it also bring lists galore - Top 10's, 100 most popular - you name it, its in a list somewhere.

This week The Financial Times released the list of the Top 5 Viral Videos of 2007:

1) Cadbury - Gorilla Drummer with over 5 million views on You Tube.
2) Smirnoff - Green Tea Partay with 3.4 million views on You Tube.
3) Ray-Ban - Catch Sunglasses with 3.2 million views on You Tube.
4) Blendtec - Will it Blend? Their iPhone version alone received 2.7m views on You Tube.
5) Lynx/AxeBom chicka wah wah with 2.6 million views on You Tube.

Just shows ... viral can be an unpredictable beast!

I never would have guessed that the gorilla would generate such a huge following ... what is wrong with these people?

I must be a child of the 80s 'cause you could put a Phil Collins tune to a cat taking a nap and it'd make me happy.

That said, I absolutely love the Smirnoff vid and have played it countless times as well as forwarded it around - so that gets my vote.
