Hitting viral jackpot is a pretty tough thing to do, and Berlitz must be feeling the pressure of proving their “German Coastguard” viral wasn’t a one hit wonder. Ken Touch This was a good step for them, but this offering -“Transsexual” - definitely won’t have the same impact.
Having said that, I found this viral to have more interesting subject matter than the other two. This lad/lady character is kind of fascinating - and just a little believable - which is quite something to achieve in a 27 second piece. I’m interested to track how it does, although my current understanding is that a viral ad of this nature should make you laugh out loud rather than just smile quietly at your own assumptions if you want it to spread amongst the masses.
