Quirk UK was recently invited to speak to a group of interested members of the MCA on Search Engine Marketing.

So, what is the MCA you ask?

The Management Consultancies Association represents the UK‘s consultancy industry (which is worth a measly £8bn a year!) to its clients, the media and government. MCA members represent around 70% of the UK consulting sector and eight of the top ten UK-based consulting firms (by consulting fee income) are members. So - a pretty prestigious invitation if you ask me.

Nic and I arrived wearing our finest (read ‘only’) suits and were greeted by an engaging audience, with plenty of questions. The presentation was more workshop then lecture and the audience was kept on their toes with a few random pop quizzes around things like ‘Link Baiting’ and ‘Google Bombing’.
We received a few requests for our presentation deck afterwards...so here it is.

A personal highlight was the stunned silence when Nic mentioned we feed our ‘geeks’ in the ‘programming basement’ Star Wars figurines to keep them productive… clearly this is not good change management practice.

All in all, another good outing for Quirk in London.
