Mary sent this viral clip around on Wednesday morning. For hours after the sounds of giggling QuirkStars could be heard from all over the QuirkStation. Yes, we take Facebook pretty seriously – sometimes I wonder if we have some kind of obsessive compulsive disorder that's related specifically to sites like these.

It’s nice every now and again to realise just how daft the entire concept is.

Don’t get me wrong – I love social networking, to be fair I am an addict but once in a while I tend to find myself sitting back and thinking: “What the hell am I doing here … shouldn’t I just pick up the phone … actually bugger it, I didn’t even want her to speak to me when we first met…”

I get over it pretty quickly though – as I’m sure most of us do;-)
