Big ideas are usually very simple, but are surprisingly hard to come by. Even harder to come by are big ideas that create even bigger ideas. Well, that’s where we think Idea Bounty steps in.
Idea Bounty is a site that allows brands to post briefs asking for creative ideas and to offer a reward for the best one. It’s a new way of thinking about the way we get creative solutions. Don’t ask two experts, ask thousands of diverse minds.
We firmly believe that the best ideas are the ones that disrupt and challenge convention. If you always turn to a category expert, you might always get answers that are limited to the conventional wisdom of that category. We hope Idea Bounty will grow into a mixed community of creative experts and generalists all with a passion for really big ideas.
Our Idea Bounty community is really important to us and we wanted to make sure that their precious ideas are protected. We have worked really hard on the legal stuff and I can proudly say ‘creative’s own their ideas until they get paid for them’. Only the creative and the client can see an idea submitted to a brief – not the whole world. This is going to protect the creative’s idea and the brand’s right to confidentiality of what their next big communication idea (or event or ambient or service or product etc etc) might be.
We want to challenge convention and we can only do it with brave brands and their support. FNB have been the first to step up and have offered an amazing first Bounty of $2 500 for the best idea that gets people to switch to online banking.
