Karmen Flemming from Amazing Vouchers passed on these links this morning, basically two websites that look exactly the same. She came across them while looking for hosting for her dad's website.
We can't be certain, but suspect the one site has just been copied. Even if they were templates - it's a tricky one to weigh up. Does a free and usable template outweigh the benefits of originality and differentiation?
We'd love to know what you think.
Update (25/11/2008): It seems Gridhost have a new website...

Hey Kat,
I'm a huge fan of creative and original websites, but it often comes down to money and skills...
In varsity my budget was more focused on beer than on marketing spend.
So I used some free templates, tweaked the css, applied seo, added new images and got cheap hosting... some of them turned out to be extremely profitable with an outlay of next to nothing.
The templates were also a winner since I'm a marketer, not a coder.
