BrandsEye Spans the Twitterverse

BrandsEye is growing at an astonishing rate (1886% monthly turnover growth for the self serve option), but this hasn’t stopped us from thinking long and hard about how to make our notifications even more useful to our users. Seeing as our users are generally the early adopters - and therefore spending hours on Twitter - we thought it the perfect platform with which to integrate our notification system.

For a social network which allows communication with just 140 characters or less, it’s astonishing to me that Twitter has grown so quickly. From its relatively recent beginnings in 2006, Twitter has grown from 340 000 users in July 2007 to more than 1 million active users in March 2008. Just 8 months later Twitter has more than 55 million daily users – if that isn’t growth then I don’t know what is!

BrandsEye Direct Messages

Introducing: Direct Message Twitter Notifications
We are very excited about this new integration, which allows our users to get instant, daily or weekly notifications directly to their Twitter message box! Much like our other notifications, this new functionality allows for full customisation - letting you choose which conversations you would like to be alerted to.

BrandsEye on Twitter

You may, for example, want to be instantly notified of all mentions which are positive, from high credibility authors and include their own name irrespective of their source (i.e. from the entire Internet). While this functionality has existed since BrandsEye was first  launched, it’s now possible to manage these conversations from the simple Twitter interface which we all know and love. Go find us on Twitter and tell us what you think!

For an in-depth look at this functionality please read Dan’s post on the BrandsEye blog.
