Free T-Shirts for the Best Comments

by Katharina Scholtz

2009/04/09

Hello friends and readers. We've seen a growth in traffic and interaction in the last while, which is obviously a grand thing, and would like to give something back to the people who’ve really stood out in adding some value to GottaQuirk.

We are thus sending two Quirk 10th birthday edition t-shirts to Gary Amstutz and anarchyintheuk for their interesting and insightful comments last month. Aren’t the t-shirts pretty:

We'd like to encourage you to let us know what you think about our content - share your brilliant thoughts or ask the questions you need answered. You can also send feedback about the blog directly to me if you prefer. I want to know what you think.

We’ll be giving another 8 shirts for the best comments over the next 8 weeks (we reserve the right to reward winners based on any definition of the word “best” we feel makes sense).

So thank you for reading and keep up the comments and feedback - it helps us be useful.

Mmm. We do have XXL, but I'll have to look into that one. We love our petite supporters too. :)

Will get a little Quirky on top of Africa - http://www.zoopy.com/awckilimanjaro

That is an excellent proposition Mr. Pieterse. :)

Kat... I'd like mine without sleeves - for that you will receive 2 free tickets to the Gun Show, lucky girl.

If 8 Free Tshirts = Higher traffic/comments
What does 10 Free Tshirts = ?

Posted by simonB on 2009/04/09

haha - @simon, you had to take it there! :P Lets take the simple answer and deduce that traffic will increase by 20% for an extra 2 t-shirts [yes yes... my logic if flawed...]

@jail4bail - really like that idea! Will give you a call to make some plans.

@Mike Met. um, thanks. You can always customise the shirt yourself.. :)

@simonB I get the feeling you have an answer you'd like to share? :)

@Tim enthusiastic as always.:)

Quirk asked me to market their brand. I said, 'how cheap do you think I am, Quirk?'
'We'll give you a free t-shirt.'
'Quirk.'

It's just a way to reward the comments and commenters we love Cayle.

If I'd known you were going to give away a t-shirt i would have commented my little behind off. Been trying to take barman's one off him since he got it. Consider me involved and I better win. Interesting: mmm. Insightful: Definitely not.

Thank you once again.

Like the sticky on brandseye Kat, feels like home :-)

Posted by anarchyintheuk on 2009/04/10

@primate Yay, do comment your little behind off. I imagine taking a shirt from barman is no easy thing. :)

@anarchyintheuk Pleasure and thank you. Yeah that sticky is rad, yay for Grant's design skills. :)

Hey Kat,

Just got your email - tried the 'email off for the long weekend trick' - very therapeutic :)

Thanks again!
