In an interesting usage of YouTube and “viral culture”, the cast of the recently released feature film, 17 Again, were interviewed behind the scenes about their favourite moments in viral video.

The behind the scenes video, which is hosted by the self-styled American ambassador of sleaze, Har Mar Superstar, features interviews with Matthew Perry, Leslie Mann, Thomas Lennon and Zac Efron who could barely contain their excitement when talking about their favourite candid or premeditated viral productions and characters.

The results are a reminder of the fascinating and funny moments the Internet has allowed us to share together such as the Cadbury’s gorilla drummer and David after the dentist – and there were also a lot that I’d never heard of, like Montgomery Flea Market, Butter floor and Lennon’s favourite; Star Wars Trumpet.

17 Again, which sounds like a blend of Big starring Tom Hanks, Like Father Like Son with Dudley Moore and Adam Sandler’s Billy Madison, was released in April 2009, and scored 6.3 out of a possible 10 from 4 423 votes.
