We’ve all seen our fair share of bizarre adverts (Cadburys Gorilla spring to mind?) but this one really made me stop and think… “huh?”. The advert, for Oasis, the drink for people who “don’t like water,” is played out like a spoof of Godzilla (remember, the giant creepy reptile?). However, the hero that saves the damsels in distress is a gigantic rubber duck (like the ones I like to play with in the bath, but MUCH bigger). Oh, and did I mention that the advert is in Japanese and has subtitles?

Although this advert is a bit off-the-wall, it seems to be pretty popular with over 44,732 views. This is the beauty of viral advertising – they managed to reach an audience that would have never come across the brand otherwise, or maybe don’t even drink the stuff?
