Our iGoogle Gadgets Show Significant User Growth

Late last year the collective QuirkStar brain was tapped to get some ideas for iGoogle gadgets relevant to South African users. Rob promised a significant bounty for the ones that actually got built, so we had some real incentive.

In the end the chosen gadgets were:

A recent check on how they’re doing (by our ever informed JHB lady Mary) has revealed that they’re doing nicely. I can’t share exact numbers.

From launch to date, we’ve experienced roughly a 26.3% monthly growth in visits to our gadgets.

As the man responsible for bulding them (Mr. Craig Raw) pointed out, "building these gadgets was surprisingly easy and it’s just amazing to see how popular they’ve become." All of this obviously makes us deliriously happy, so we just had to share it.
