Ikea Photo Tags - The Kind of Thinking We Like

Nic sent around an interesting link this morning. It describes Ikea's photo tagging campaign run on Facebook - one which has been extraordinarily successful and employs the kind of (to quote Nic) "innovative, joined up thinking" wich we respect.

The store made it possible for people to tag themselves in pictures of Ikea's furniture - the first to tag something would win the item. The point was to raise awareness of their new store - news of the campaign spread through participant's news feeds so it worked out rather well. Simple, cheap, effective, involving an existing community - inspired. Something we thought worth sharing. Read more here.
