Hyundai have just come up with a second ad that follows from their set of lifestyle scenario ads, called “Smart is in”. They run by their tagline – smart on gas. smart on quality. smart on style. They’ve also chosen to be smart with this campaign - in the same series, we’ve seen various date scenes, including a family, two lovely looking ladies and hetro relationships. This French ad takes a spin on the concept of being smart when it matters most. It’s got a clever, cheeky twist, similar to the positioning of the car itself. With 64 621 views on YouTube, Hyundai has definitely got this campaign right. Check it out:

The TVC was produced in Sweden. The TVC actually has two endings. One with a women sitting beside the man. And one, more dramatic, with the Toy Boy, sitting beside the man.
Leo Burnett Stockholm produced the TVC with Starcom as media agency. The creative was voted "The gayiest commercial in 2000th century".
