The message governing this campaign was that money can be lost very easily through exorbitant interest rates and hidden bank charges. At the beginning of this video it was mentioned that approximately 4.7 billion Aussie dollars were “missed out” in Australian savings last year.
So, the “tree-lion” dollar question, why did this video go viral? The fact that Sydney citizens encountered park trees containing actual Aussie dollars is a starter. The look of astonishment from these very same citizens made for a fantastic campaign by Rabodirect overall.
