JJ Abrahams, of Cloverfield fame is now involved with a brand new Sci-Fi Thriller, Super 8. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Abrahams’ “Cloverfield”, a viral trailer was released 2 years back. What was it about I hear you ask?
The viral website, 1-18-08 contained moving pictures of characters and events that happened in the movie. The result was a short code site which provided both a trailer and a number, 33287, which, when texted by the viewer provided a ringtone of the monster's roar and a wallpaper of a decimated Manhattan.
For Abrahams’ Super 8, a series of Kodak films was released to the public containing a clip referencing the movie.
