The most popular man in motorsport , Ken Block, has just unleashed his latest video onto the Internet. Gymkhana Four - The Hollywood Megamercial. Filmed over 5 days in the back lots of Universal Studios, the director created a stunt driving epic lasting 10 beautiful minutes.
As with the previous Gymkhana videos, Block drives around in his DC Shoes / Monster Energy branded Hybrid Function Hoon Vehicle (H.F.H.V.) otherwise known to the aveage guy as a hybrid Ford Fiesta rally car. Block drives around, performing power slides, over steering skids and outright driving like a “hoon”.
From a marketing aspect, the video has hit 3,5 million views since being uploaded on 16 August. Listed by YouTube statistics as most popular with men, aged 18-44 and trending globally, including in South Africa.
Ken Block is known for his crazy anctics and hugely succesful videos including Gymkhanas One, Two and Three, the Top Gear match, “Ken Block’s reveal”. Using the rally driving stunt videos as a base, there is now a Ken Block can of Monster Energy, a full line of hoodies and t-shirts with his name and Monster featured. Better yet, all these videos are available on DVD.
