The Grand Theft Auto franchise by Rockstar Games is among the top selling video game series ever.  Playing as a criminal thug, the games feature expansive landscapes, graphic violence, vulgar language and an addictive storyline.

The 5th instalment is set in Los Almos, a fictional city vaguely based on Los Angeles and follows the hero from San Andreas, TJ on his new adventures.

The numbers: As of November 7, the video had 5,4 million views since November 2. That is approximately 1 million views per day. Looking at the YouTube graph, we can see that the YouTube milestones all take place within the first 1 million views. 

The video has received no paid distribution as yet, and has grown organically through the last week.
