Polanski's A Therapy Prada Video

The house of Prada collaborated with the controversial film director, Roman Polanski, to showcase a brilliant short ‘movie’ at the 2012 Cannes Film festival, starring Helena Bonham Carter and Oscar winner Sir Ben Kingsley. A Therapy features Kingsley as a therapist and Bonham Carter as the troubled wealthy patient. In the session she chatters on about her problems, while her seductive lavender Prada fur coat distracts Kingsley. His fascination with the garment results in him parading the coat in front of a mirror with the final caption “Prada Suits Everyone”.

This video comments on the fashion industry stereotypes as a kind of style sickness using wit and irony.
