Remember the days when there were, say three memes the entire year round? Yeah, 2004 was a great time.
Now, with most of the Western world socially connected in some way or another, we’ve got fresh memes on a weekly basis.
Check out the following video featuring everyone’s favourite dumpster-diver, Cookie Monster, and his take on Canadian pop star Carly Rae Jepsen’s diabolically catchy Call Me Maybe. We think this is a great move on Sesame Street’s side, tapping into a widely meme (and song) to again expose the brand to a wider target market, or in other words, adults.
