With the Olympics only just gone from our television screens, it may now be time to look at the various Olympic themed videos that have gone viral. The Nike ‘Find your Greatness’ video is one, and shows everyday men and women finding their inner strength, and achieving greatness.

The video features people from across the globe, hailing from different countries (including South Africa), with different ethnicities and diverse backgrounds. The message at the end of the day is simple: greatness does not only lie in a few elite individuals who have been blessed with a special talent. Greatness lies in all of us, and it’s up to us to find it. The ad was released on the 25th of July and has so far garnered a whopping 4, 941, 983 hits, since upload.

Its a take on advertising that’s obviously a far-cry from the usual famous-sportsman-gives-rousing-speech deal. Thumbs up to Nike, they’ve shown some creativity and innovation, and they’ve infused this particular ad with a dose of touching humanity.
