At Think Jozi we’re bunch of nerds with varying interests in literature, philosophy, math, science, art, design and more geekery than we care to name. And so in honour of the eclectic tastes we have, and those we apply every day to what we do at Quirk Think, our next few posts will be a random mix, including: poetry, math, and the almighty cat gif. It’s sure to be very different to the norm, enjoy!
Let’s start with the newly established, Think Jozi's Poetry Corner:
Let Me Not To The Planning Of True Strat
Alia Vahed
Let me not to the planning of true strat
Admit its permanence. Strat is not strat
Which fixes when it better insight finds,
Or stiffens 'gainst the market's changing fact:
O no! It is an ever changing plan
That looks on uptake and is e'er refined;
It is the guide to ev'ry marketing man,
Whose worth's in change, as market changes her mind
Strat's not stone carved, though planners would have you
Believe that once plan's made, plan's made to last
All seasons forward to the edge of doom;
But weekly, monthly, learns from seasons past.
If this be error and upon me shown,
I never planned, nor no plan ever owned.
A Limerick On Strategy
There once was a strategy in place
For a brand unlike any seen case
It recommended shock tactics
Like cats doing gymnastics
And the brand won its fans at a pace
Haiku – Social Strategy

but nobody cares
