Justin Spratt, our Quirk Africa MD, will address what gives an agency the edge when working with multinationals interested in building brands and doing business on the African continent.
As part of Social Media Week Lagos 2015, the Masterclass on “Growing the largest digital agency in Africa” takes place on Tuesday, February 24th at 5.45pm in the SMW Masterclass Suite at the Landmark Centre.
The growth in mobile and other innovative technology means there are now more exciting opportunities to work with local, regional and international brands across Africa than ever before. “Growing the largest digital agency in Africa” will explore how South Africa-based digital marketing agency Quirk built its business, working with some of the largest clients on the continent.
Quirk has grown year on year for the last 15 years, and was acquired by global marketing giant, WPP, in 2014. Justin will walk through how the organisation is structured, answering questions around talent, culture, new business and financial growth. Senior level digital marketing consultants, start-ups, small agencies and entrepreneurs will all gain an understanding of how to build a business and the opportunities that digital marketing presents in Africa. He will also provide insights into Quirk’s way of working with clients: Think, Create, Engage and Optimise.
Justin Spratt, Managing Director, of Quirk Africa, was previously General Manager at Internet Solutions, working on mobile solutions and Wi-Fi, and managing IS Labs. With an MBA in Strategy and Finance, he started out in banking before being drawn into the world of technology and digital in Africa.
