The latest bit of awesomeness to join the Flash/UI Design & Development team is none other than the inimicable Barry Els. This self-professing ‘nerd’ loves how all subjects seem to interrelate and overlap and it is this unity in all things that landed Barry a position at Quirk, and it is what lured him to the digital world in the first place. Baz brings with him his brilliant logic and his ability to put the user ahead of the product. Barry relates best to James Bond, or is it Rambo, (make up your mind Barry), and admits his only guilty pleasure is ‘coding all through the night’. At Quirk we will be sure to give him plenty reason to indulge his vice. Barry says his best feature is that he has a ‘nice voice’, we think it’s his chiselled jaw line. It’s easy to see why his friends describe him as funny, literate and intelligent. Hang around and Barry might bring out his ‘Yellow Cat Suit”.
