The Person Behind the Blog Posts
After completing a BCom in Accounting & Economics at Rhodes, Kath travelled the States working in ski resorts and Starbucks (guess who’s in charge of making the coffee when the rest of the Stars read this). Playing in the snow was fun and all, but Kath soon realised she couldn’t do it forever and headed back to SA to complete post grad year at Red & Yellow School of Logic and Magic.
Why Quirk? Well, Kath had always thought she’d love the traditional agency vibe – that was until she did an internship at one and hated it. After having to listen (repeatedly) to how mobile and online are the way of the future she decided to leave the world of TV and print and throw herself into this new mix of marketing tactics. Needless to say, she's loving every minute of it and is a sterling addition to out client service team.

Kathryn sais that at the moment, with all the new things she's learning she's likely to say "sorry...but how do I do this?"
In her "normal life" away from Quirk she's more likely to be heard saying "awesome." A lot.
Secret Reason for Wanting to Work @ Quirk
Kathryn wanted to get away from traditional advertising and saw Quirk (with its "cool environment") as the best place to learn about all things online. Plus she loves that she can wear jeans and a T-shirt to work.
