The person behind the blogpost
Kurt Muller, aka Guppy, or the Gupster, joined Quirk in December 2010 as a senior developer. Upon completing a diploma in I.T. Programming from Varsity College Kurt realised that Web Design and Development was the route he wanted to go and he has never looked back. Kurt brings a wealth of Front End Development experience as well as knowledge of UX, Design and a willingness to accommodate most requests, along with loads of sarcasm and one-liners to make you cringe.
If Kurt could change one thing in the world he would reverse the global warming effect by having more Winter months, as he doesn’t tan all that well anyway! Kurt used to be in the choir at primary school - an Alto – and says he could rival Justin Bieber with his delicate voice. As a child growing up Kurt wanted “to be older”, and an astronaut, but settled for exploring the outer limits of cyber space and is happy to have climbed aboard the good ship Quirk.

Kurt’s secret reason for wanting to work at Quirk:
The fact that Spar conveniently brings a cart of stuff into the office to buy, instead of his having to “wind surf” over to their store.
