An intern in the Cape Town office, Siyamkela Luckyboy Makoma (or Siya for short) is in love with technology, (aren’t we all! – Ed). An information systems graduate, Siya is another genius to join the Quirk team. Siya’s childhood hero was his mom (aw!!) but he now idolizes Orlando Pirates, so much so that his favorite colours are the black and white of the Pirates jersey! His prized possession is a gold medal he won in a science expo for a chemistry magic show he performed (he should talk to resident magician, Tim Shier about a double act!). Described as talkative, friendly and innovative, the worst thing Siya ever did was fabricate a story resulting in his best buddies being beaten up, (Sies, Siya!). Siya brings flexibility to the Quirk dynamic and is pleased to be able to feed his addiction for the Internet all day long.
