Kentucky Fried Cruelty

by Garrick Jones

No, this isn't a scene from Prison Break! PETA has launched a campaign to highlight the horrific cruelty that takes place in bringing you a bucket of the colonel's best. These clips were banned from airing during the recent Superbowl, but have had quite an impact on the viral front.

Very creative with significant impact, but then again I had just watched a clip featuring Pamela Anderson giving the lowdown on KFC's cruelty – I may be a tad biased :-)

If you have a strong stomach go take a look at some of the others here, but be warned, you may go off chicken. Well that's it, I'm going to Nando's from now! At least they have a sense of humour.

KFC get their chicken in SA from Rainbow Chickens. They don't have their "own" chicken hatcheries. They source their produce from numerous sources.
