We want less traffic!

With everyone in South Africa “gaaning aan” about our chronic traffic problems, Viv Crone has an interesting perspective on the problem: provide decent broadband so more people can work from home.
There are similar initiatives in the UK but the focus is more on energy conservation and reduced CO2 emissions than on traffic reduction (although believe me the traffic is worse in London!).
Let’s hope that South Africa sees the sense in this and actually does something about it!
