Enjoying the Everyday

by Garrick Jones

It doesn't have the amazing visuals used in some of the other virals we've looked at recently and it's not edgy or funny – which usually appeals to us folks around here. But as its title suggests, it enjoys the everyday.

Cleverly putting together a selection of clips, Volkswagen have given us a video that I guarantee will have you tapping on your keyboard to the beat before it's finished.

Why does it work? It works because it's nice. For me it appeals to the average Joe – not that the average Joe drives a Golf 5, but you know what I mean. It may just be me, but I've got the feeling that there is trend where people want to watch ads that make them feel good

Ads don't always need to be ground-breaking or mind-altering to get the job done and be successful – sometimes people are happy to sit back and watch something that relates to them and and can be enjoyed for what it is. And I think that this is what this ad does.

Enjoy:
