Burger King - Corny Beef?

by Tammy Joseph

This Burger King viral is advertising their new bacon and chicken crispy burger. The idea is that it’s “so good you’ll cheat on beef”. I found it quite entertaining, as the ending was unexpected and completely different from what I thought it would be.

When I noticed the cow (of sorts) with the angry look on its face, I thought it was angry because the guy in the car was eating beef! The problem is actually that he wasn’t eating beef. Quite bizarre I will admit.

It's a good viral because it’s captivating, and pretty stupid at the same time. I think it will definitely make the rounds, and get the intended message across. It keeps you watching to find out what happens at the end of the ad, and although it’s a slight anti-climax, at least you find out what’s new on the menu.
