And in the beginning... no one was listening

by Rob Stokes

As I type this, my first blog post, it is with a certain amount of disbelief. After watching the explosion of the blog phenomenon for so long it almost seemed that joining the fray would be giving in to peer pressure. But recently Craig and I realised that we have so much to say that even if no one else cares to listen, it would be great to log our thoughts even just for the sake of prosperity.

I can imagine in 5 years time (assuming this blog lasts that long!) that i will look back on the early posts and think "what the hell was i thinking?". Like if i look back now on my Academic work of 5 years ago i often wonder how i could possibly have been so naive. I guess we have to learn somewhere.

Anyway so thats it for the first post. Hopefully future ones have a bit more substance!
