I went to the Seth Godin Dinner last night and despite not having Rich…! around I had a great time.
We arrived at 6’ish and started tucking into the little Mexican snacks with relish. After a couple of hours of chatting and drinking some of us hit the buffet and we all listened to Seth’s speech which probably went on for about an hour or so.
Still silly over my new camera I took a 3 minute video clip of Seth telling his Purple Cow story. Check it out here although at 70MB it’s probably not worth it if you’re on a slow (read South African) connection.
(Can anyone tell me how I can compress this MPEG file and still keep the resolution?)
As those who know me will understand, meeting Seth was a huge thing for me. To say I have been an obsessed fan for years would be an understatement. The guy is a genius.
Rob, I scrunched down your video to 15.5MB but can only do it in .WMV format (I'm no video wiz, but I tried the only tool I had) I've hosted it and linked to it from the wiki page. Thanks very much for sharing it.

Nice one Lloyd. You've obviously much more of a video wiz than I am. What tool did you use to do it.
