Random Scenes from the WebPR+ Conference

by Andrew Bayley

I could run an in depth analysis of the ins and outs of the talks, but Mike and Sarah M have it covered, and it seems too much like hard work.  So far, it’s been good.  Kudo’s to the Sarah’s and Santi for their great organisation skills.  …and  Gavin: we’re having words about your font choice for Robs’ presentation when I get back to the QuirkStation.

But, I digress. With a quick registration process, Santi seamlessly moving from office-mom to conference-mom, and some idle chat over coffee and muffins, the talks kicked off pretty much on time, a real surprise for a Cape Town event.

With a packed room of PR, marketing and assorted other professionals, the talks have gone off really well.  Both Craig and I pulled some really interesting info from Sally’s talk, but head to the Joburg one to find out more.

After his initial 30secs of nervousness, Rob has ploughed into his topic with a mixture of his bizarro wit, odd anecdotes and brilliant insight.  It’s always good to watch him in full swing, except when we’re at the office, where his manic energy is enough to drive Mother Theresa to drink.
