Prototyping and field testing in Second Life

I think this is so cool. The Starwood hotel group (Sheraton…!) are prototyping their hotels in Second Life. Z and Vinny would argue that with 500 000 users, Second Life is not quite World of Warcraft which has about 7 million users, but check the counter on the homepage - it's growing fast. Either way, the input and community involvement they receive will be so valuable. Open source market testing… I love it!!

Here are some other Second Life firsts. I’m sure Adam Curry has a long list to his name as well.

So… Southern Sun, how about we build a hotel?
